All GP medical records in Lancashire & South Cumbria have been digitised. The New Hall Lane Practice scheme ran during summer 2021. During this time, all patient paper records were scanned onto the computer system. No new paper records will be created.
The paper based records were securely destroyed following BS EN 15713:2009 Secure destruction of confidential material.
