Appointments

Urgent appointments

If you request an urgent, on the day appointment, you may be booked in with our Paramedic Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner, or receive telephone advice over the phone by a GP or Nurse Practitioner. These requests can be made morning or afternoon, however slots are limited so we advise you to call as soon as you can.

Routine GP appointments

GP appointments can be booked up to 14 days in advance with a Doctor of your choosing.

Telephone Reception on 01772 970907 for an appointment. Alternatively, you can visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6:00pm. Some appointments are bookable using your online access apps.

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

We can offer a consultation via phone, face to face, by video, or by alternative means.

Please let us know if you have any access or communication needs, such as requiring an interpreter.

Home visits

Requests for home visits are triaged via phone first with a GP or Nurse Practitioner. They will then make the decision as to whether a home visit is clinically indicated. All Home Visit requests should be made during the morning surgery.

Most problems can be dealt with more quickly and effectively if you come to the Health Centre, because facilities and equipment are available, which can’t be used in the home. A home visit will not be made just because a patient has transport problems.

Please do not ask our receptionists to book a home visit, as all home visit requests are decided by a GP or Nurse Practitioner.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

It is vital that all appointments are cancelled so they can be utilised by another patient. If you do not attend more than 3 booked appointments in a 12 month period, you will be removed from the patient list.
